Salary Secrets And Myths
One of the blogs I read is Get Rich Slowly. This blog handles money issues, frugality and many aspects of money management. Borat Scores No. 1 Opening, Gets Sued By Mahir
Good news for Borat fans – the Borat movie (“Borat: Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan”), took the number 1 position in US and Canada box offices last weekend. You can read about it in this BBC article.
Normally I wouldn’t mention it, but Borat just got sued by someone who just featured as #24 of PC World’s 25 worst websites list, namely Mahir Cagri of IKissYou.org. I guess Mahir took Borat’s “sew the jew” initiative seriously. (via Slashdot)
Windows Vista
So much is being said these days about Windows Vista, Microsoft’s new version of its operating system, which will be released at the end of this month, that I decided I have nothing to add. I have 3 words to sum it up, and I quote: “Coming October 2003”. (via Digg)

Cool MIT Machine Sketch Interpretation
MIT created ASSIST (which stands for: A Shrewd Sketch Interpretation and Simulation Tool). It’s kind of hard to describe what it does, but fortunately for all of us, there’s a cool video demonstration. (Thanks to Itai for the link)

Banana Guard – I Always Wanted To Protect My Banana. No… Seriously
We haven’t had a stupid gadget for ages, but the makers of BananaGuard decided to lay upon us their latest invention… and it’s only $6.35 US. (via Gizmodo)
p.s.
Can anyone tell why the title of their website is “ClearSpeed – Why Acceleration?” ? I can’t. Maybe the BananaGuard can’t stand high speeds.
