KPL – Kids Programming Language
KPL, or Kids Programming Language, is a Microsoft backed project to let children write computer programs. It is based on the .NET Framework and features an IDE similar to Visual Studio. The programming language itself is similar to Visual Basic, only it allows very quickly to render cool programs and games for those kids who must have immediate gratification (pretty much all of them).
This long video on Microsoft’s Channel 9 website demonstrates KPL. If you have time, it’s pretty interesting.

Mac OS Bloopers
Everyone who was into technology back then remembers Windows 98’s famous crash. But “live crashes” are not just a Microsoft thing. Macs have those too, and they’re pretty funny.
Funny Windows Vista Beta Image
Windows Vista, Microsoft’s next version of Windows, is currently in its beta stage. Apparently, a new feature of Vista is to tell the user which programs cause it to start slowly. Gizmodo reports that sometimes Vista identifies itself as the problem (with a very funny screenshot).
Drempels
I generally don’t like screensavers. I just set my screensaver option to “none” and let the screen simply go black and then to sleep after a while. I just installed Drempels, though, which is not only a very cool screensaver but can also serve as an ever-morphing, colorful, swirling, hallucinogenic background for your Windows desktop.
