I simply didn’t know about it, and what a shame it is. Turns out March 14 is Steak and BJ Day. It even has a website, so it must be true. And if you want to know exactly what’s supposed to happen on Steak and BJ Day can see the video instructions.

Next year I won’t miss it. Hopefully.

Note to self: find girlfriend after Valentine’s Day and before March 14 :)

UPDATE: A friend pointed to me that March 14 is also Pi Day. There’s a website for Pi Day too, but who cares, right?

Bill Gates, as announced before, will stop working full time at Microsoft. At this years CES show he showed a video of what his life would be after Microsoft. It’s nice to see that for a man at his position, he still has a great sense of humor. My favorite part:

ComputerWorld posted a short article detailing some of the most genuine way people have found to destroy their storage devices. I liked this one:

A British scientist was fed up with the way his hard drive was squeaking, so he drilled a hole through the casing and poured oil into the mechanics. The squeaking stopped, and so did the hard drive.

Jeff Dunham is by far the best ventreliquist I’ve ever seen perform. Not only he has a range of characters that are all hilarious, his act is also simply very funny because it’s well thought and conducted. Here are two of his shows (both around 1 hour):

I used to love infomercials. They were great for endless staring into the TV screen, letting the brainwashing presenters try to force you into buying a stupid product by showing you how great it works when they use it. Sometimes the presenters would let members of the audience use it – always successfully so, which is surprising since I don’t think highly of the people who would go to these presentation voluntarily.

Rock Lighter is one of those websites that make you think “why didn’t I think of that?” Well, not really, but it’s still a funny little website, created for rock fans who are at a concert and in need for a candle/lighter type flame. Don’t forget it for your next Metallica concert (and for when you have a cellphone with a web browser.) (via Download Squad)
